• You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for a Texas License to Carry (LTC).

• You must submit to a background check & meet the qualifications for approval.

• You must complete six hours of formal classroom instruction or online training.

• You must pass the State of Texas LTC exam as per the Department of Public Safety.

• You must prove proficiency in handling a handgun by taking the marksmanship training

• at our gun rage and make a satisfactory score on the (shooting proficiency) qualification.

• Students who live outside the city of Lubbock may choose to hire an alternate instructor to

• complete their shooting proficiency at their own expense. (However) if you live within driving distance we encourage you to attend this class at our school with no additional charges;
